MangoApps uses Tavily for optional web-search fallback in Workforce Bots. The feature is enabled separately for each bot. Bots otherwise answer employee questions from uploaded documents and configured knowledge bases.
Document retrieval uses chunk-level semantic search over the top three source documents, with chunks of about 1,500 characters. Workforce Bots also records retrieved sources and confidence in a per-message audit trail. Low-confidence answers can trigger human escalation through a webhook and ticket hand-off.

MangoApps launches channels, threads and shift-aware chat
MangoApps added public and private chat channels, threaded conversations, polls, scheduled messages and voice notes across web and mobile. Channels can automatically follow locations and shifts, and employees can act on approval cards inside chat.
Customers can message their customer success team through desktop and mobile, with staff responding from a shared inbox. The feature includes backup routing, private account announcements and shared meeting recaps with action items.
MangoApps can now provide single sign-on to other business applications without a separate identity provider. Administrators can register applications using SAML metadata, control access by employee attributes and review sign-in logs.
