How they use Nebius AI Cloud
Mimic Robotics credits Nebius with providing part of the compute used in its FLUX-mimic experiments. The research combines a pretrained video backbone with an action expert and joint video-action supervision to learn industrial manipulation tasks.
The project collected 55,217 episodes across 31 tasks, totaling 295.8 hours of recordings. Researchers evaluated separately trained policies on Franka arms with dexterous hands and Trossen arms with grippers. In soft part kitting experiments on Franka, FLUX-mimic achieved 77.5% success with two hours of action-labeled demonstrations and 95% with eight hours. These action-data budgets exclude backbone pretraining.

mimicrobotics.comMimic Robotics, operated by mimic robotics AG in Zurich, develops AI models and robotic systems for manual work in manufacturing and logistics. Its video-action models learn from video and human demonstrations to control robots performing assembly, kitting, packaging and sorting. Products include the mimic hand M1, a tendon-driven robotic hand, and mimic wearable U1, an exoskeleton that captures human movements for training. The company integrates its hardware and software into robot stations with one or two arms on stationary or mobile platforms.
