MangoApps

Workplace collaboration and AI assistants

How they use Tavily

MangoApps uses Tavily for optional web-search fallback in Workforce Bots. The feature is enabled separately for each bot. Bots otherwise answer employee questions from uploaded documents and configured knowledge bases.

Document retrieval uses chunk-level semantic search over the top three source documents, with chunks of about 1,500 characters. Workforce Bots also records retrieved sources and confidence in a per-message audit trail. Low-confidence answers can trigger human escalation through a webhook and ticket hand-off.
