How they use Tavily
SocialCrawl uses Tavily upstream for four live API endpoints: web search, URL extraction, site mapping and crawling. Its server translates incoming query parameters into Tavily requests and authenticates upstream calls with SocialCrawl credentials. Customers access these functions with their SocialCrawl API key.
Search returns ranked results with an optional generated answer. Extraction returns clean content from requested URLs. Mapping discovers site URLs, while crawling retrieves page content with natural-language guidance for path selection. SocialCrawl preserves Tavily payloads inside its response envelope and caches responses by operation. Its Prism answers endpoint also sends the same question to Tavily, Perplexity and Grok, retains their answers, merges citations and compares agreement.
