How they use Nebius AI Cloud
Nebius Academy provides cloud computing resources through its Research Grant program for an ongoing project at the Caltech Math-AI Lab. The supported work includes research on the Hadamard maximal determinant problem.
Nebius Science reports that researchers from Caltech, the University of Miami, the University of Cambridge and Temple University constructed matrices of orders 51, 107 and 115 that improved previous determinant records by 3.1%, 0.44% and 1.68%, respectively. Nebius Academy also names Caltech as a collaborator in its AI for Mathematics initiative.
The paper “The Two-Hump Problem: Bridging the Difficulty Gap in Mathematical Reinforcement Learning” also acknowledges Nebius cloud computing resources through Nebius Academy’s Research Program. The work studies reinforcement learning approaches to the Andrews–Curtis conjecture.
